17th: St Patrick's Day Parade. Galway City. This year's
Galway City St Patrick's Day Parade will be one of the most exciting
extravaganzas that the City has ever held. Galway will celebrate
the 500 year anniversary of the Battle of Knockdoe by re-enacting
a full scale battle scene at the end of the Parade's route. 200
stuntmen with experience of working on major projects such as
the King Arthur film will lead the parade in anticipation of
the mighty battle that will follow! The parade will begin at
