LOOK FOR THE BOAT WITH THE DOLPHIN-near Renvyle

Dolphins are visitors to Ballinakill Bay Fishing in the Renvyle area- and as far out as Inishbofin when the weather is friendly - there is promise of good catches of pollock, mackerel, rays, spurdog coalfish, cod, sand dabs and conger eels.

Mackerel is especially tasty when fresh! On the return journey there are spectacular views of the Twelve Bens. These fabled mountains of Connemara offer a myriad of shades of purple and green, enhanced by the varied blues of the sea.

The 5 p.m. cruise offers a chance to see these mountains in a different light - washed in purple velvet as the sun sets and the sea turns to gold.

Watching the sunset on a fine Summer’s evening ,from Derryinver Bay as it turns the sea crimson and violet behind Letter Hill is as beautiful a sight as you will ever find anywhere in the world. A camera and binoculars are as important as fishing gear.

At the far western edge of Ireland can be found the serene and

tranquil Renvyle Peninsula.
